A small site, with small data appetites.
The site uses no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics. We record a few anonymous site events so we can see which tracker filters and external links are useful.
What the site records
Our lightweight event log stores the date and time, the page path, the event type and a short label such as the name of a retailer link. The application does not add an IP address, email address, account identifier or advertising ID to these event records. The Design Your Companion tool runs in the browser; selected traits are not submitted to this event log.
Designer choices are encoded in the page URL so a shared link can recreate the same design. A shared URL should therefore be treated as shareable rather than private.
Normal server logs
Like most websites, the hosting service may create standard technical logs for security and operation. Those logs are separate from Robot Companions UK's small first-party event file and are governed by the hosting provider's infrastructure and retention settings.
External sites
Links to manufacturers and retailers open their own websites. Their privacy, cookie and purchasing terms apply once you leave Robot Companions UK. If affiliate links are added later, they will be disclosed on the relevant page.
