Human-form companions
The category is beginning to converge. Aria concentrates on face, gaze and conversation. Fourier’s GR-3 adds a walking full-size body designed around touch, attention and social interaction. General-purpose humanoids are still stronger at some physical tasks than they are at companionship.
Realbotix is currently strongest where many humanoid projects are weakest: the social interface.
Aria has expressive facial movement, vision, multilingual conversation and public deployments, but she is not a general-purpose walking humanoid. Judge the physical platform separately from the AI.

Fourier calls GR-3 its first “Care-bot”. The 165 cm, 71 kg humanoid combines a soft covering with 31 tactile sensors, face tracking, a four-microphone array for sound-source localisation and up to 55 degrees of freedom. Social interaction is part of the hardware brief rather than an interface added to an industrial body.
The interesting companion question is what happens over weeks and months. Fourier describes multimodal responses and interaction history, but it has not established the kind of persistent relationship memory, ordinary-home reliability or independent social evidence that would make GR-3 a proven consumer companion. There is also no normal UK consumer retail route or public UK price.

Full human-form companion with powered facial, arm and hand movement. The retailer does not present it as a walking autonomous humanoid.
A human-form companion that can move safely around an ordinary home, maintain a persistent relationship model, handle long unscripted conversations, understand social context and physically interact without constant supervision. Individual pieces of that stack exist. A convincing consumer product combining them does not yet.
U1 Pro, Realbotix F-series and NEO all have human form. Their mobility is very different. Check the specific model before borrowing a capability from its more expensive relative.
