Reality check

U1 is a family, not one specification. Lite is a bust; Pro has a full-size body without autonomous walking; the much more expensive Ultra is the walking model shown at launch. A 16 September delivery target was announced in June. We have not verified completed customer deliveries as of 17 September.

Three very different prices

At the 30 June launch, Lite was CNY ¥119,800; Pro was ¥169,800 for either male or female form; Ultra was ¥880,000 female or ¥990,000 male. These are launch figures, not UK offers.

A robot boyfriend?

The male Pro makes the companion category broader than female-presenting robots. It is an emotional-companionship product. No sexual hardware is established by the sources checked.

What still needs checking

A live demonstration of the delivered model, memory controls, cloud dependence, repair support and an actual delivery record matter more than another render.
