LOVOT is one of the clearest examples of a companion robot whose purpose is the relationship itself. It moves, recognises people, seeks touch and is designed to become familiar over time, but it is deliberately not a household assistant and it is not sold as a conversational chatbot on wheels. UK ownership is also awkward because GROOVE X still does not offer a normal supported UK retail route.
